During the Mossenmark Festival -96 the Mossenmark Sound Fund was established.
The purpose of the fund is to support and stimulate research and artistic work, who's ambition is to reach a grown vigilance around our mutual sound environment. The fund hands out a scholarship every year.

Motivation:
By producing a CD recording of traffic noise from Sveavägen, Stockholm AU-system and Lars-Göran Nilsson has shown that traffic noise, that for many of us is seen as disturbing, can be a relief and a resource, a sound that provides comfort for the to the quiet countryside moved out big city resident.
This shows that any sound can be valuable depending on what importance it has to us.
AU-Systems initiative has thereby in an excellent way shown that sounds and silence are equally important.
