During the Mossenmark Festival -96 the Mossenmark Sound Fund was established.
The purpose of the fund is to support and stimulate research and artistic work, who's ambition is to reach a grown vigilance around our mutual sound environment. The fund hands out a scholarship every year.

Motivation:
Mossenmark Sound Fund scholarship 2002 is awarded Sture Hegerfors and Lasse Åberg for the book Nödbroms - handbok för framsynta bakåtsträvare.
Where the problems with the mobile phones sound exposing in public places and spaces is brought up. The owner of the mobile phone often expose people in public places of a loud spoken conversation and thereby make the public involuntary listeners.
Fellow human beings is taken away the right to an own sound sphere aswell as there own thoughts. Hegerfors and Åberg has in an amusing way pointed out and challenged techniques progress and its consequenses.
